Stasis is comprised of two complementary parts, a yin (Decompression) and a yang (A Lasting Peace). It is about balance. This is my first real experimentation with trance, and hopefully not my last.

(2009) Experimental Evolution
Experimental Evolution is a story about a world not unlike ours. It begins with Genesis, a piece about the origins of life. Over the ages (Millennium Wind), technology arises and purity is lost. We see this corruption portrayed by The Wretched Harlequin. The darkness spreads and the inhabitants of the world slip into a false Euphoria. In the end, however, goodness prevails, and everything culminates in a celebration of Gaia, goddess of the Earth.Inspirations/Origins:
- Genesis – derived from an unreleased piece called Alien Paradise
- Millennium Wind – inspired by World of Warcraft’s Azuremyst Isle theme
- The Wretched Harlequin – inspired by Cirque du Soleil’s Corteo and dance crew, Jabbawockeez
- Euphoria – inspired by trance artist, BT
- Gaia – kind of just evolved from messing around

c0ntact is about the fall of a zen master as he experiences life outside of the secluded temple he was raised in. The tracks are about his gradual moral decline.
